“What an amazing tour we had! Jacob, our guide, and Martin, our driver did not give up on trying to find a spot. They drove us 2.5 hours through rain and heavy snow and into Finland to find clear skies where we were able to see some amazing lights! A campfire was made and they fed us some reindeer sausages and chai latte that Martin’s wife made which was delicious. Also had hot coco and provided vegan sausages as well for those who don’t eat meat. We learned a lot about the lights and Norway itself from both Jacob and Martin. Had some great conversations too. “If you like beer, food and a bit of history then this is the tour for you. Our guide Bernard was very knowledgeable about both the local history of Tromso and the beers as well. We sampled many beers from the local region. A highlight was the Mack Brewery bar with 67 beers on tap unfortunately not enough time to sample them all. The food provided was also excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to do something a bit different in Tromso. It was fairly good value for money in Norway where everything is very pricey.”
