“Owner/operator cancelled via phone call after we showed up at the pick-up location at the start time. It was only after calling them that they (first) accused us of showing up to to the wrong location (we did not), then apologized for miscommunication and said they didn't have any guides and cancelled the tour. We were left waiting in the cold for an hour whilst trying to sort this mess... In fairness, this mishap could have been due to our same-day booking, but Viator and/or the operator should not enable such bookings (and send a confirmation email saying the booking worked) if they cannot accommodate these requests!”
